Charlaine Harris Writes Sookie Stackhouse – Season 2 True Blood

Its on now ” its showing ” its True Blood Season 2. HBO are showing this the second season and so far the stats are showing it to be incredibly popular too. Word has obviously got round about Season 1 and how good that was, so now its the turn of Season 2. Lets check out whats been going on so far in the early days, shall we?

As is what appears to be the norm, the first part of Season 2 begins with a murder, the body being found in the local detectives car. Interesting start! There are a few hot and steamy scenes too, just to add a bit more oomph to the proceedings, as if there was not enough already.

When I first began watching Season 1, I was pretty much addicted to it from the very beginning. Unlike the typical vampire film or series, True Blood brings a true life to vampires and other creatures of the night and makes them more human and humane, on the whole.

Instead of hiding away the vampires and other various creatures in True Blood are very open and very normal.

Back to the murder. It was vicious to say the least as the victim has been stripped of their heart, having had it ripped out. Rather gruesome for sure!

At the beginning of Season 2 we find that Sookie Stackhouse, the female protagonist has learned about Jessica Hamby. Jessica has been brought up by Sookies former lover ” Bill Compton ” and he was forced to do so because he murdered another vampire whilst defending Sookie in an attack. She learns too that her uncle has passed away and left her an inheritance. This does not make her feel happy however, as this uncle was a paedophile.

Sookies brother ” Jason, meanwhile, has turned from being a womanizing, blood drinking addict to a highly religious zealot. Not everyone in Bon Temps is happy with this change and Sookie for one much prefers the old Jason to the new one.

So far then we have witnessed a number of very strange goings on and no doubt we are going to witness a lot more. Hopefully some of the following questions will be answered soon:

1. Who is this lady called MaryAnn and why is she hanging around Bon Temps asking questions?

2. How come Sam Merlotte is so nervous about her being there? What is he hiding?

3. Can Eric Northman win over Bill Compton for Sookies love?

4. Will Eric Northman be able to win over Sookies romantic side or will Bill Compton win her back for good?

5. How about Sookies brother ” will he continue to be led astray and go deeper and deeper into the realms of religion, or will he emerge as the Jason Stackhouse we formerly knew?

Lots of unanswered questions and lots to look forward to in the coming episodes of True Blood Season 2. You best make sure you get access to the television and make sure you can indeed get HBO. If you are unable to do that, then keep an eye out for the upcoming Season 2 DVD. I will be for sure ” its good to watch it both on cable and have it on DVD!
