This book is so far right that makes Ronald Reagan look like a neo-liberal. The assumptions of the text is cut beyond traditional speakers to "transfer" a message to an audience "criticism" is ridiculous and the bankruptcy of the text should fit, and as a filler of a big elephant of the Republican Party. Seriously, if you go beyond the rhetoric there are plently of good textbooks written for college audiences that the simplistic assumption that making mistakes and fabulous this book covers.

I'm very angry because I have not received my book. I ordered the book on January 8, 2007, and I almost fell, even in my class because I have not received the book. This is absolutely ridiculous and I want some type of reimbursement system. This book has many problems and could collect more than $ 50, two weeks ago. I am now and I want my book!

I can not stress that if not needed for courses in rhetoric of many academics, Stephen E. Lucas probably be writing greeting cards at best and at worst, the label of ingredients on a tube of toothpaste! The author uses examples of persuasive speeches (with a liberal agenda) to a receptive (liberal) audience as well as his statement that is well written and well spoken speech, affect the audience to the point of view of the speakers. Total Cr * p! I wouldnt have purchased if not a required text, and I'm glad the sale of this liberal garbage to some other unsuspecting poor students. I wonder if the College receives kickbacks from publishers.

I ordered my book on the 28th May. Is 28 June and have not received my book. I have the seller numerous emails sent. They say they sent but not yet done so. My class is already half. I would not recommend the purchase anyhting from seller "Tagme.
