What Kind Of Assignments Will I Get In A Creative Writing Class?

I am taking a creative writing class this year and I was wondering what kind of assignments there will be. Were they fun or boring? Are there lots of essays (what kinds) and short stories? What should I expect?

   Well creative writing would be more like free style writing I would think because it’s creative. Essays are based on books or events but creative writing would be writing short stories. It should be fun
