I Want A Lego Darth Vader

“I must have a Lego Darth Vader!” I heard my nephew proclaim “What?”, I asked. I had the pleasant job of watching him for a bit while my sister worked. I do not keep up with all the “in” toys. But, my little angel was going to give me the “down low”.

I have a niece who is bananas about these toys. I did not think a girl would actually enjoy them. But, I have first hand information directly from the horse’s mouth. She will argue her point and make sure you know what she wants!

“Do you not watch the Star Wars movies?”, he queried. Sure, I have watched them. But, was I going to keep up with the amount of toys manufactured from the movie? I meekly listened as he delivered to me the definition of his desire.

“I have a ship that started my collection. Momma got it for me as a birthday present. I keep it in my room and have waited and waited to get what goes with it.” I remember the ship. I thought he was too young to have it.

“Well, they have the action figures and I was hoping Santa would bring a few for Christmas! I have been a really good boy and I think momma would agree!” I could see he really had his heart set on these items. He is a precious, sweet heart.

“I would love to have Count Dooku and Boba Fett. The Boba Fett has his own weapon! It would be great to have this for my collection. I would have so much fun when Aaron comes to play!” I could not deny his desire.

I suppose I will have to have a little talk with “Santa” and make a little boys dreams come true.
