Atheism Week Day 1/2

I posted these videos last year as part of Videoblogging Week 2007. I started a day late so this one is for day 1 and day 2. I focused on atheism because it was something I had been thinking and blogging about a lot at the time and people seemed interested. Now, almost a year later, the videos are getting a ton of views all over again thanks primarily to Youtube user pironiro. So here they are for the Youtube community. Thanks for watching!

    1430 years ago, God says:
Have not those who disbelieve known that the heavens and the earth were of one piece, then? We parted them, and we made every living thing of water? Will they not then believe?
    Quran surah 21 verse 30
I sincerely invite all the sincere people to Islam! Its a complete way of life governed by? divine law!

lesliekwan80….if the Christian God could fit in your little brain, he won’t be much of a god would he. Not a god who deserves worship anayways.

  3. onlyjoetee says:

So you who have no faith who believe in nothing, what do you do,when the battle is greater than you????

  4. lesliekwan80 says:

Anyone with half a brain knows the Christian god does not exist. Believing in an invisible mind reading being is already a stretch. Let alone believing in EVERYTHING ELSE like heaven, hell, talking snakes, walking on water, coming back from the dead, virgin birth (ha, that excuse might’ve worked 2000 years ago), getting strength from hair, Adam and Eve being the first human beings, diversity of language explained by a tower, etc. And even THAT is the tip of the iceberg.

  8. gilldo21 says:

Micki, have you read the book “The World Is Flat”?

    You rock!!

  9. hornylink says:

it might just be her actually. :P

  10. THEWHIPX1 says:

    Atheism gets me hard!

  11. axsimulate says:

barkingwater2000 “dont have a handbook? Do you realize all of you say the exact same things?”

Yep, it’s called free logical thinking with an open mind. You should try it sometime.

  12. barkingwater2000 says:

dont have a handbook? Do you realize all of you say the exact same things?

  13. axsimulate says:

No atheists don’t have a handbook, they don’t need one, but Christian Hypocritical Zealots do, it’s called The Holy Bible.

  14. iclaudius78 says:

Thank you my friend. You put brilliant points to that crazy zealot. This barkingwater is an impossible person to debate with. Truly fails to see the irony in accusing us for not thinking for ourselves.

  15. axsimulate says:

barkingwater2000: Can you think for yourself once in your life? If you did, you would understand our point of view.

  16. barkingwater2000 says:

Can you think for yourself maybe once in your life???????????? Geez…all you guys use the same verses. Go look up the real meaning of this verse…..I’ve already explained this to one moron on here before

  17. axsimulate says:

Here is a sample of Bible morality…

    Deuteronomy 22:28-29 (New International Version)

28 If a man happens to meet a virgin who is not pledged to be married and rapes her and they are discovered, 29 he shall pay the girl’s father fifty shekels of silver. [a] He must marry the girl, for he has violated her. He can never divorce her as long as he lives.

  18. axsimulate says:

Just because you believe doesn’t mean it’s true.

  19. axsimulate says:

Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?
    Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing?
    Then he is malevolent.
Is God both able and willing?
    Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing?
    Then why call him God?

    Epicurus

  20. barkingwater2000 says:

Again, the same old lame arguements that all you guys have learned from one another. Its been my experience that if God came up and bit you on the butt that you still wouldn’t believe. Just because you don’t believe doesn’t mean it isn’t true. Atheists are like zombies quoting the same mumbo jumbo and trying to make themselves sound intelligent.

  21. axsimulate says:

barkingwater2000: “Unlike those who discovered the earth was round, you haven’t proven anything despite thousands of years of trying.”

“semper necessitas probandi incumbit ei qui agit” means “the necessity of proof always lies with the person who lays charges.” You are the one claiming God exists, the burden of proof lies on your shoulders not the other way around.

  22. axsimulate says:

barkingwater2000: just because millions upon millions of people believe in God doesn’t automatically make them right.
Just remember millions upon millions of people believed the world was flat at one time and we know now how wrong they were.

  23. barkingwater2000 says:

Do you guys all have the atheist handbook or what? All of you say the exact same things. We both know that your comparison is ridiculous. Unlike those who discovered the earth was round, you haven’t proven anything despite thousands of years of trying. Admit it, atheism is a religion and a very unpopular one at that. Get a life and move on

  24. xlmeay says:

So the fact that millions of people used to believe that the earth was flat means nothing either? Popularity does not make something true.

  25. barkingwater2000 says:

I love the way you use profanity. It sounds like a teenager talking to his friends. Are you not having misconceptions about Christians? Of course you are. You are afraid of God, otherwise you wouldn’t waste your time talking about Him constantly. I feel sorry for you
