the cruelty of mongols has been exaggerated. it’s the subject of a good number of books nowadays. the reason is that history was written by the enemies of the mongols.

Gengis Khan was not an Asian. The Mongol Horde was the name for the Russian Army who were the original Scithians and later became the Cossaks. It’s a right by birth military order that had co-control of Russia with the Monarchs. The Romanovs made up the Mongol Horde were Asians to discredit the claim of the Cossaks to Russian rule. The Cossaks and earlier Scithian had the reputation of fierce horsemen who raided Eastern Europe, Persia and China. Russian history has been drastically altered.
