small audience- use “ice breakers” have people introduce themselves-or if you’re good a jokes tell a fun joke- a brief agenda of what you’re going to be speaking about if it helps,initially win the audience over and try to keep the momentum up,(i’ve seen great speakers kill an audience by be being to long-winded”-taking up too much time,use common discretion-
think of questions to ask the audience, there’s nothing like a bit of group participation to keep everyone alert!
