That whole thing makes me VERY nervous. Im having a hystarectomy end of this month. thats ALOT of needles.

  2. bathbeads10 says:

@summitk2 I guess he has to put it all in the cart then tug the cart into the OR

  3. summitk2 says:

The “stick” is a stylette, a long piece of metal that he put inside a breathing tube, making it easier to shape and aid in placing it in the airway. How did this video get 4 1/2 stars?? Mumbling & wrapper noises…? You can hardly see anything he’s doing (not exciting anyway). And why is he preparing in an office?? Doesn’t he give anesthesia… in an OR?? Weird.

  4. bathbeads10 says:

    syringes sound heavy LOL

  5. bathbeads10 says:

    whats that huge stick for??

  6. mrABRESCH says:

I either want to do something in anesthesia or become an orthopedic or cardio/thoracic surgeon :]

..bte this guy likes to throw things haha

Work hard, stay away from weed, and with some luck you’ll make it , long hours and lots of stress but very rewarding…

  12. HoneiiDiiva says:

I would so love your job. How fun and exciting, yet challenging!

  13. henndri says:

Why too much on preparing syringe?

  14. KseriesVtec says:

I’m currently a senior in high school looking to overtake a job in the anesthetic genre. After the twelve years of schooling, the hard-work will surely pay off. I can’t wait to start!!!

  15. tbrais says:

are you dumb? All it takes it one cough, one sneeze, one little germ to get inside an open wound, and all hell can break loose, i.e: staph infections, it’s no fun.

  16. notgoth808 says:

I’m also a junior in high school. As far as anesthesiology goes: 4 years pre med, 4 years me, maybe about 4 years residency it all depends. Although you do get paid during residency-about 30-50,000. 12 years total. It takes total dedication but most decide which medical pathway they are going to take during med school :)

  17. HoneiiDiiva says:

if i only I had an intelligence high enough to be a doctor, or an anesthesiologist. :-(

  18. jetliigor says:

After college there’s 3 years of medical school but after medical school how many years of residency? Also, after residency there is 1 or 2 more years of extra education for anesthisiologists. Am i right? What type of doctor goes to school (post college) longer than an anesthisiologist?

  19. dljones33 says:

OK, the name Mr. Hyde does come to mind here but a very interesting video nontheless. Better be careful putting those needles back into their respective places. Ever “stick” yourself? I guess you wouldn’t know for a few minutes.

  20. BrendanIsCool says:

    huh

  21. chopped50 says:

seriously who uses 6cc syringes..douche bag!

  22. digitalis123 says:

What?? A mask everytime you take a syringe out? You have to be joking.

  23. gonzabel says:

This guy looks like such a malpractice case waiting to happen, I doubt he has his license anymore, this is terryifying the bacterial contact and improper use of aseptic techniques.

  24. juan909s says:

im in a junior college, and I just started, i do plan to transfer to UCLA if i can, if not some other UC here in CA, what are the odds for me getting accepted into med-school given that i come from a junior college???

  25. warriorteng says:

I think this doctor needs a Mask to prevent polluting the Syringes. Asepsis is very important.
