@JayKay3000 that would of involved them demonstrating how awful this shitty camera is, thereby ruining their ability to whore themselves out on the giant diseased gonads of creative.

It’s also a little goddamn worrying that the “expert” presenting this POS to us doesn’t seem to be aware of the fact that windows has had a standard web-cam driver for nearly a decade. that most cameras can use. “creative magic” my fucking ass.

  2. pamew says:

@bownage not even close to, in fact it’s about twice as bad for shadows eating up frames. avoid this POS like the plague

  3. pamew says:

@airwolf100 you really are fucking retarded, you know that? this piece of shit has a mono mic and a shitty cmos sensor in place of a proper lens (something most cams in the same price range feature.)

So no, not another noob, just someone who actually understands what he’s looking at, and had the bad misfortune to be sold one of these pieces of shit under the pretense that it had a decent lens and stereo sound. This product sucks and you’re a fucking moron for finding it acceptable.

  4. airwolf100 says:

    @pamew Just another noob lol

  5. pamew says:

@Razear quickcam pro 9000, by a long way.

  6. pamew says:

@Saterik82 Don’t worry about it as:

-1280 lags like ass anyway, especially if you’re evil enough to have bought anything other than an intel cpu.

    - photos are grainy and look like a child painted them in terms of definition.

    - the focus is digital anyway, so it’s yet more ass.

    - Doesn’t work with pinnacle studio 12.1 either (windows native)

    - the button works as it pleases and is no faster than using your mouse as it likes to freeze up the pc for a second before it does anything.

  7. pamew says:

@airwolf100 Just shut the fuck up you smug prick. The other user is correct, this webcam is fact, a piece of utter ass, and if it doesn’t like your particular hardware setup it blows a dick. Also, stop shouting “n00b” at people, this isn’t 2005 you fucking child.

  8. airwolf100 says:

@Saterik82 Its very clear from your answer that you are a noob!
you could’ve asked ppl better than crying.
Can you tell why its working fine with other ppl but not with you?? thats because you’re a nooooob. OR maybe you bought it from Thailand and they got you hehe (cheap cheap copy).

  9. Saterik82 says:

To save anyone else having to return it like I did and I was looking for reviews beforehand….

This camera isn’t properly supported on a Mac. You only find this out in the instructions or a small footnote on the box.

As a result the camera doesn’t function properly:

    - Max Resolution is 640×480…. no 1280×720 here!
    - No 5.7mp photos.
    - The light doesn’t come on.
    - Focus doesn’t seem to work properly.
    - The button doesn’t work & can’t be programmed.
    - Doesn’t work with iMovie or FCP.

  10. bownage says:

Does the 30fps on the Creative work in dim lighting conditions? Seems that Microsofts Lifecam cinema doesnt do 30fps except in a well lit room.

  11. NinjaRiCe47 says:

Well how they manage to provide it to work without drivers is most likely the Flash BIOS chip is built into the actual device. Older devices used to use this because they didn’t require much space. BIOS is the codebook that tell the cpu what codes to use to communicate with the device.

  12. bg048 says:

    Not bad for the money

  13. EnanoNt says:

put the cancelling noise off, and u will not have to shout, trust me

  14. KeneeBee says:

    gimmee 1 !

  15. Razear says:

What’s better. this or the Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000?

  16. H3lloSE says:

    @Antje14 how much was it?

  17. FunsterProductions says:

@igonnagetfsx just turn you input in windows up and then it works well

  18. OzzyPanos says:

    70 $ is a hot price :)

  19. JayKay3000 says:

Should have recorded part of the show with it.

  20. 04ayasin says:

you might want to change the noise cancelling settings or just switch off noise cancelling

  21. igonnagetfsx says:

And also, the microphone is very low, but good quality, I have to almost shout into it..

  22. igonnagetfsx says:

I have this, and It’s only 30 fps at HD resolution when the lightening is good, in bad light, it will get around 10 fps.. But it’s a nice webcam, the video quality is great :D

  23. TheProductionsPetre says:

    cool

  24. segr3do says:

well.. a good review but always help some kind of demonstration… only the specs we all can read on the box or on the creative website…

  25. chaosquall1 says:
