This is a simple traffic generating trick that you can use that has yet to reach the masses. It’s quite potent at generating traffic if used correctly, and in conjunction with a popular affiliate product, or any product at al in fact, has the potential to rocket your online presence and sales for that product.

I’ve effectively used this technique on Squidoo for the last year or so, and have also found that the principal is the same for HubPages too, so have started using it there too. This neat trick could be exactly what your online Internet marketing needs to move your traffic to a whole new level of traffic, prospects and income.

This trick uses what are called tag pages which are used both sites. If you go to either and click on a tag you’ll see what a tag page is. This is a page which has a list of all the Squidoo lenses / HubPages hubs that use that tag.

You may know the term tag more commonly used as a keyword, or search term, these are used to describe what a hub or lens is all about. After having tested this successfully on Squidoo, this was then tested several weeks later on HubPages, and in each scenario, substantial traffic was generated for the respective hub or lens, which in turn generated revenue for my affiliate product.

Many tag pages on HubPages and Squidoo are very well ranked in Google – many are around Google Page Rank 6 and appear on the first page of Google for their keywords. If you can just add that Tag Page to your hub or lens, it will be listed there and you can start generating traffic very quickly.

This is a simple tip to get extra exposure and traffic to your hub or lens for free. This is very effective at getting increased traffic and popularity to your page so that you too can appear on that coveted first page for that specific tag. If there are only a few listings for your keyword, then you have a much greater chance of getting highly ranked.
