Lindsey Williams – The Energy Non-Crisis – Part 2 of 8


Lindsey Williams, who has been an ordained Baptist minister for 28 years, went to Alaska in 1971 as a missionary. The Transalaska oil pipeline began its construction phase in 1974, and because of Mr. Williams’ love for his country and concern for the spiritual welfare of the “pipeliners,” he volunteered to serve as Chaplain on the pipeline, with the subsequent full support of the Alyeska Pipeline Company. Because of the executive status accorded to him as Chaplain, he was given access to information documented in his eye opening book, The Energy Non-Crisis. After numerous public speaking engagements in the western states, certain government officials and concerned individuals urged Mr. Williams to put into print what he saw and heard, stating that they felt this information was vital to national security.     Great man and book. But I need not read the book or hear his words. For I already know that all thinks on this earth is a lie. Everyone is manipulated. The Mayors, Governors, and Senators all get their info from some one.     @jjammin1812 You’re right, Toxic4343 made the comment, you just defended it. It’s not the same thing, and I apologize for my confusion, but by backing up the statement instead of agreeing that God did not make this country you made yourself appear to take up his/her argument.

    Also, logic is never simple. If it was, you wouldn’t have trouble following what really is a fairly simple line of logic.

Not once did I ever state “God made this country.” So, once again, you error in your conclusion. Logic is simple for those who know how to use it. You have also claimed that just because Biblical concepts are used to justify terrible actions doesn’t mean these actions were Godly. This contradiction shows that applying Biblical concepts to actions is not enough to make them Godly.

    You ask me “How can? you conclude that my doing something in your name means you did it?”

    @jjammin1812 Logic dictates, by virtue of the definition of the term, that all logical statements are true for all possibilities. When a statement is proven, even once, to be false in a situation, the statement is no longer logical until qualifiers are added to account for the situation(s) in which it is false. Logic is based on “Logos”, the underlying principles of reality. Logic is a difficult thing.

Therefore, according to your explanation God raped and murdered tens of thousands of Arabs during the Crusades. After all, the Crusades were done in God’s name, according to God’s word as it is recorded in the Bible. As you say, the history books speak for us. Are you sure you want to attribute these events directly to your God?

You must understand that the reason people do what ever it is they do is dependent upon their entire character make-up….what they believe…..how they believe in what they believe……how much energy or purpose they put into what they believe in…..their surroundings and circumstances they find themselves in……are all factors that must be considered as to what has happened before

    @jjammin1812 It sounds to me like men and women made the USA then. Religion, God, and people who believe in God are all separate ideas. Doesn’t seem like God willed one brick into place on his/her own.
